There definitely was a big bang that is now believed to have ocured approximately 4568.2 million years ago. A one centimeter meteorite called NWA 2364 provided the answer to a more accurate estimation of our solar system’s age. The meteorite is also dubbed CAI, this is because it is a calcium-aluminum-rich inclusion. Trapped minerals in forming space rocks are called inclusions. The meteorite that was found in Africa is believed to be a solid that condensed out at the time when the solar system was being formed.
Slight though it might be, finding out that the solar system is much older than we originally thought, this may help scientists figure out the beginnings of the universe and how man came to be.
